Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea

Pros: We had a truly enjoyable stay at Hotel Kempinski. Our room was spacious and spotless, the facilities were excellent, and the spa treatments were wonderful. Breakfast and the restaurant selection offered a great variety of delicious food with outstanding service. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, especially Ivan from Guest Relations, whose pleasant personality and constant willingness to assist made our stay even more special. Thank you for everything — we will definitely be back!

Pros: This place absolutely exceeded my expectation. I believe there exists no word to describe how attentive the staff was. They were extremely helpful, kind, cooperative, they meet your need even before you know you have that need. I travel a lot, but I never saw this level of attention. And the best is that it does not seem they do it out of obligation. This place is absolutely beautiful - you don´t want to leave. And the food... even after a week at home I miss this breakfast. It´s totally international, so you can have a variety of bread or pastries, or the miso soup, or the chicken legs. I tried dinners at Obelisk restaurant only, but it was an amazing experience. Thank you very much.

Good not all was great

Pros: The Jr suite room was spacious. The life guards at dead sea were very helpful. The staff overall were great, enthusiastic and ready to serve us.

Cons: There was no steam room etc, it was at an additional cost, which was a put off for a resort. Stayed 3 days for bfast it was the same menu all three days. Also the food quality was average not 5 star.

Pros: The resort is vast and offers a wide variety of outdoor and indoor swimming pools, as well as a private beach. The spa is spacious and very pleasant. The rooms, amenities, and staff are all at the level expected of a luxury five-star hotel. Breakfast is extensive, with medium-to-high quality offerings. The Libanese restaurant is very good with a wide a nice terrace.

Very comfortable

Pros: Great facilities, comfortable rooms and we had a really lovely driver who took us to the sights and also the airport.

Cons: The environmentally friendly notices were all around the property but didn’t seem to be accurate as the bathroom products were in little plastic bottles which were changed every day. All the other five star hotels we stayed in Jordan had large refillable bottles of bathroom products (and better quality).

Jordan Dead Sea Trip - couple - Kempinski

Pros: The facility, cuisine, and service were exceptional. Ivan and other team members, such as M. Qandeel, performed admirably, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast was beyond perfection. Jordan proved to be a remarkably safe destination, offering a truly mystical experience.

Cons: Nothing for real

Great hotel in a marvelous land

Pros: Truly beautiful property mixing well with the landscape. Staff were always extremely helpful and kind.

Cons: Hard to tell… but communication could have been better. We intend to use the Spa - also getting highly nudged to do it -, but it was never told us the facilities would be closed an entire afternoon for a party!

Pros: Amazing facilities, a beautiful hotel with stunning views and an excellent breakfast. The pools are very nice, especially for adults. Overall 7/10 ( as we were family with 3 kids) for couples its 10/10

Cons: We arrived at the hotel at check-in time, and the staff seemed more focused on encouraging us to upgrade, which felt a bit strange especially as we noticed the same approach being used with other guests. The kids club came with additional charges, which we felt was unfair. There was also an extra fee to use the indoor pool; however, I must admit the experience itself was excellent, so we didn’t mind too much in the end. Overall, if you’re visiting as a couple, this is a very nice hotel and well worth considering. However in my opinion for families with young children, you may be better off choosing one of the more lively, family oriented hotels nearby.

A picturesque stay full of luxury, comfort and relaxation

Pros: The property had amazing views, excellent and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and an outstanding spa.

Cons: We were visiting during a low season perhaps, as the lazy river pool was under construction and several of the restaurants were not open or had limited hours.

Pros: Left my iPhone in the room and I was able to get it back. Impressive!
