Great hotel to stay in the heart of Amman

Pros: Great hotel in a great location. The room was lovely and clean and a really good size. The hotel is in a great location walking distance to so many historical sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even provide you with a great little online map to help you get around the area and explore the neighbourhood. This made my life much more easier getting around.

Cons: The hotel faces a busy street so it gets noisy at night. But it seems hard to find a quiet place in Amman. Also close to the mosque so the pray call starts 5.30am which is difficult not to hear from the room. But again most locations will have the same. I found the room a little bit small.

Pros: Great location, close to a busy market, super friendly staff, pretty room

Cons: Breakfast is rather basic, but was perfect during Ramadan

Pros: The staff was super kind and helpful, if we had any questions, they helped us sort everything out. The location was right in the city center close to everything we wanted to see. The room had everything we needed, it was very clean and quiet.

Good budget hotel and good location if you want to immerse yourself in a lively part of Amman

Pros: Recommend for backpackers. If you enjoy staying in a lively and authentic area, then well worth a stay. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful with advice for places to visit. Room was large enough for a short stay. I booked a trip to Petra before I arrived in Jordan but you are likely to save money if you book through the hotel instead, you can ask for a price in advance. The main road is very busy but it goes quiet around 10pm. Location is great if you want to immerse yourself in street markets and vendors, plenty of shops to buy food and drink and the traders are all welcoming. The wonderful Roman amphitheatre is quite close too.

Cons: Not a complaint but for those who want a relaxing stay, then best to use a hotel further out of the city centre.

Tranquilidade

Pros: I had a great stay at Sandra Hotel. The location is excellent — very close to the main tourist attractions, which made getting around really easy. The breakfast was delicious and well served every day. The highlight, however, was the staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful, especially Loay and Yousef, who were always friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. I definitely recommend it and would stay again!
