PETRA Cabin Dorms Hostel

Pros: Extraordinary event, jeep one day trip and 2 nights in desert, great cuisine

Pros: great location, helpful staff, spacious pod, very clean

Pros: The location is great, just 5 minutes from entrance to Petra. Staff is very friendly. You need to understand that you will not receive a whole room, inly please to sleep in the cabin, taking this into consideration. I didn't expect much, but I was really surprised at how a hostel looks like and how good is organised. The shower and toilets are cleaning all the time, and you have a place where to rest, to eat and smoke. When I asked for something, staff tried to find it: like a hair dryer or possibility to hear my food.

Cons: It could be perfect if microwave oven or electric kettle were available anytime.

Pros: Great location, maybe 200-300 metres from Petra entrance.

Cons: It being on the fifth floor after walking many, many km at Petra was unfortunate, but it's not really a downside.

Pros: the clean lady cleans almost all the time. the dinner was really good. I recommend to add both dinner and breakfast, becasue the food around the area is super overpriced.

Cons: no hot shower, but it is ok after spending long time under the sun in Petra... the reception staff was not friendly.

you get exactly what you paid for along with it being very clean

Pros: for a hostel, they had double beds to accommodate couples which was separated by a wall from other beds to main privacy whilst paying a budget price. I hadn’t come across a bed like that

Cons: it was difficult to find, but that’s because it had a new name. I was looking for Petra voyager hostel, but when you arrive you come across petra cabin hostel. so it would have been nice to be informed of the new name. however the owner was lovely, I contacted him through booking for help of the location and he was very helpful and responded quickly to the message

Pros: clean, good staff and perfect position to visit Petra

Pros: +very close to Petra Visitor Centre +opportunity of buying a meal in hostel +low price - because of that I was prepared for some inconvenience +helpful stuff +hot water +warm (during winter)

Cons: -description and perspective of made photos (I thought that we will get a room, not a box 😂) although it wasn't so bad - bed was comfortable -we had to behave very quietly because of 3 shared walls of our box :> -we also heard everything -\

Tutto bene

Pros: Struttura e camera pulite e accoglienti, lo staff molto gentile e disponibile nel dare le informazioni necessarie. Colazione e cena (a pagamento) valevano la pena. Molta scelta e cibo ottimo. Ti offrono un bus per Wadi rum a 10 jd che consiglio prendere dato che tutti i trasporti per il deserto costano 10 jd e questo bus vi viene a prendere direttamente all'ostello.

Cons: L'unica cosa che non ci è piaciuta è stata la lunch box. Costa poco e all'interno trovate un panino con dentro una salsa (sembrava hummus ma non ne siamo sicuri ma lo abbiamo mangiato solo perché era l'unica cosa che avevamo), un pomodoro, un cetriolio, 2 mandarini acerbi, un succo, acqua e una merendina e un uovo.

It is highly recommended to stay while visiting Petra.

Pros: The location is perfect because is easy and close to Petra.

Cons: The mattress was softly and you get up with pain back.
