Great place to stay in Petra
Pros: All good, location, staff, cabins, food, good wifi. They offer a good and abundant dinner for 7 dinars. They have a smoking room, which is quite admirable nowadays. Cabins are spacious and you have all the privacy you want. Toilets and showers are constantly cleaned and quite spacious as well. Location is close to the visitor centre, which is definitely a plus if you're visiting Petra in more than one day like I did. Good restaurants and supermarkets at 5-7 Min walk. Excellent WiFi and decent space with sofas and tables to do some work.
Cons: No proper water dispenser, you can fill up a glass of water but you feel guilty filling up a bottle since it's very small. No hot water for making yourself a coffee. Cabins are private and spacious, but definitely no sound proof. Hostel is on the top floor, lots of stairs to do. It was ok for me but could be a problem for others.

Pros: It's a lovely place in the middle of the desert. I stayed for three days and the food was different everyday. Breakfast and dinner are really good spreads with ample vegetarian options. There was bonfire in the evening, we also learnt about local cuisine preparation. There's a separate unit that works as a common area (residence is individual cabin), it's large and cool during the afternoon heat and kept warm in the evening using fireplace. Among additional services, I opted for a sunset jeep tour and it was Great. Right from booking they were very responsive and there were no surprises during my stay. It was peaceful just as I wanted.

Ottimo!
Pros: The hostel is less than 5 min from the Petra entrance / Jett bus stop - very convenient! The room consista in a Futon style bed for two people - confortable and secluded Hostel gives the possibility to book for breakfast (buffet), lunch and dinner for a reasonable price. Moreover, hostel can help you organize your trips to Wadi Rum (bus + camp booking).

Excellent stay near Petra
Pros: ! The location was absolutely perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from the Petra Visitor Center. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed and gave great tips for visiting Petra. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and very cozy — a unique experience compared to regular rooms. The restaurant downstairs was also a highlight — delicious food, generous portions, and a warm atmosphere after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was varied and fresh, with good coffee and local touches. Everything was well organized and great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Petra who wants a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay close to the site! ---
