Pros: Amazing stay in the Wadi Rum!!! We really experienced the Bedouin life, from watching the stars on the mat to drinking great tea to eating the Zarb. The latter is a specialty of the Bedouin cuisine, slowly cooked in a barrel under the sand, and it is not available everywhere. Zaid was really accommodating and made sure we did everything we wanted, including smoking the shisha under the stars on the mat with a bonfire. Their organised tour were also great and they offer many activities. Samir’s food was absolutely delicious both nights!!! The tent was clean and with a big bed - really like a hotel room with private toilet and hot water for the shower. Will definitely come back here next time we visit. On their website they also offer camping under the stars, which we are looking forward to doing next time!!

Pros: The owner, Zaid, was very nice and polite. As we were late, because we had a problem with GPS he was waiting for us. Also, they kept dinner for us, as we have been late for dinner as well, it was still fresh and hot when we arrived. He was very helpful and adaptable, he adapted the program to us, because we could not stay long. The trips are very nice. The owner is going with you to visit very beautiful places in the desert which you can not see by yourself and also riding a camel is an experience that you will remember. All recommendations for this accommodation and Zaid.

Cons: Only one thing that we did not like is that if you do not take any trip or adventure, you have to pay additional cost for transportation to the camp, which was not mentioned on the website. But when we met with them and they explained to us all, we agreed for trips, so it was all fine.

Pros: If you are considering a visit to Wadi Rum, you should choose WhyDesert Camp & Tours as your hosts. The Bedouin camp is perfectly located among some mountains, providing a peaceful environment and a very beautiful view. Said, who was the host during my stay, was always hospitable, welcoming, and willing to share facts about Bedouin culture. The facilities are good, and there is privacy in the huts. In the common areas, there is a volleyball court and a bonfire area, the latter being the perfect evening activity as you can look at the stars and drink tea laying on mattresses. Always an opportunity to have a nice time with the other guests. Everyone working in the camp is helpful, and the tasty food is traditionally prepared. Moreover, WhyDesert Camp & Tours is an ideal place if you want the full Wadi Rum experience, as there are always opportunities for Jeep tours, sandboarding, and guided tours. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable experience! Highly recommended

Pros: Very friendly and kind local host. We got to know lots of interesting things about bedouins culture. The location was great, there is no other camps in the eyes reach which makes the camp very unique. Food was delicious, rooms well cleaned and the full day jeep tour very enjoyable. Oh and there are 3 sport climbing routes just behind the camp :) Thank you for your kindness and warm hospitality! Highly recommended!

Pros: Un beau camp typique du désert. Il faut penser à réserver les sorties dans le désert directement chez l'hôtelie et non pas par une autre agence , ça complique l'accueil et l'organisation. Une fois ces problèmes réglés, nous avons fait un trip en 4x4 dans le désert, bivouac à la belle étoile, super!

Pros: Un endroit magnifique, j’ai tout adoré, tout le monde était adorable, aux petits soins, Autant sur le camp, que leur journée dans le désert, avec une nuit à la belle étoile, je vous recommande cet endroit, et leur activité Un moment magique et inoubliable, ils sont tous serviables, aux petits soins pour chaque demande, pour nous satisfaire l’année, si vous choisissez cet endroit, prenez les activités avec eux vous ne serez pas déçus, Moments inoubliables ….

Pros: Virkelig god oplevelse, medarbejderne var meget hjælpsomme med transport og diverse ture. Klar anbefaling at tage en aftentur for at se nattehimlen. Aftensmaden var en autentisk beduin oplevelse med mad lavet i sandet hvilket var fedt og smagte godt.
