Pros: This was an absolutely amazing experience at the Bedouin camp. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warmth and genuine hospitality. The tents were comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, offering a perfect balance of authenticity and quality accommodation. The true highlight of our stay was the dinner — Zarb, a traditional Bedouin meal slow-cooked underground in a barrel. It was not only delicious but also a unique cultural experience we won’t forget. We would wholeheartedly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a special and memorable stay, and we would love to return one day.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: All perfect! Husayn was a really kind and funny guide. You can always ask him for something without problems and he immediatly makes you feel at ease. The structure is in a good and panoramic position, it has all services, just 10 minutes by pick up to a beautiful sunset view. Also the other guides are really good people to spend nights talking around a fire. Totaly recommend it!

10/10 experience I'd definitely book again!

Pros: Hussein was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay! He enabled us to have the best experience possible in Wadi Rum. The location of the camp is really good, you can see the sunset/sunrise and light pollution is so little that you have a great view on the stars! The food served was prepared with care and you can taste it; a very homely experience. We also booked the 2h Jeep tour with Hussein and he showed us wonderful places and we were welcomed with hospitality. The beds are suuuuper comfortable too! Would definitely book this stay again!

Pros: All the meals were quite good. The owner was really helpfull and flexible about the price and program. Really professional, indeed. I recommend to stay at least two days to connect with such a sacred place. The staff was algo kind and competent. If you contract them , be always in touch with them and dont let anybody pick you up as it can be a scam

Cons: *Note that it can be really hot during the day (I stayed in May) but then the sunset and dinner pays off. * The bulb in my room didn't work. *Would have been ideal to include the nights I paid through booking (like 4€) in the total price we aggreed on and not being forced to leave it as a tip. Anyway, it's a minor detail. Only for this I scored 9 instead of 10.

peaceful location with amazing view

Pros: The camp is situated far away from the village which is a real benefit, making it more quiet and remote. The room was great, amazing view and little balcony. Dinner and breakfast were really good. The host picks you up and brings you back to the village for free if you book a tour with them - which we did and really enjoyed.

Cons: We were not huge fans of the bathroom but it was enough for one night. The room gets hot in the day but cools down enough during the night.

Good value for money

Pros: Staff super friendly and totally recommend the tour with this team. They know the best places, cook the best spot and took us to a nice place for sunset. Amazing energy and comfortable conditions.

Cons: WiFi is not always working but we are in the middle of the desert, it's understandable.

Highlight of our Jordan trip

Pros: My stay in Desert Guide Camp was wonderful! Right from the start, our guide made it stress-free for us as he picked us up from our early bus arrival at wadi rum visitor centre. We were welcomed with a gorgeous breakfast, a lot of delicious tea throughout the day and a great traditional dinner at night! The second day, we booked a whole day jeep tour with Hussein and had so much fun, we discovered all the key places from wadi rum and finished the tour with a great hidden sunset spot! The food buffet was gorgeous, our cabin was spacious with all the amenities and even the wifi was good! The staff and people on site were very kind and we had great conversations with them. Finally, our host organised our taxi journey to Aqaba which was higly appreciated.

A wonderful camp with excellent hosts delivering great Bedouin hospitality

Pros: Hussein and the rest of the team were charming and helpful. The location is unbelievably beautiful. The evening meals were great, and amazing value for money.

Cons: There wasn't really anything that I can think of. We struggled to get hot water but didn't try very hard or for very long, so that was likely down to us!
