Wadi Rum Old Bedouin Camp

Good place to stay, I recommend!

Pros: I stayed at Wadi Rum Old Bedouin Camp in November, with Salem, Awwads brother, as my host. Both of them are really friendly and make sure to take care of you. I am here for climbing and staying with Awwad is perfect for this purpose. The camp is located in. A beautiful setting in the desert, the sunset is incredible. The food(and tea !!) is perfect, and i really recommend to stay with them.

Pros: Awhad went out of his way to cover a few extra places and also take me to a spot with amazing sunset views. It was a great value for money package and things were planned very seamlessly

Cons: The hygiene of the toilets can be improved.

Unforgettable experience

Pros: Great experience with great hosts. The family welcomed us in their home where a very nice meal was waiting for us. The helped one member of our group who had a medical issue. They then took us in one of their Jeep for a 4 hours ride among the spectacular scenery of Wadi Rum desert. Probably the best experience of our trip in Jordan, and something that we highly recommend to everyone.

Cons: Everything went great.

Lovely stay in the desert

Pros: Lovely camp in the desert, with beautiful views. Very restful in the evening after a long day in the desert! There was a big tent with a fireplace, and great local food. Salim and his colleague were very welcoming and told us a lot about life in Wadi Rum. I slept in a comfortable tent. The breakfast was also very good. There is a bathroom with showers.

Cons: Nothing.

Opinion of a female solo traveler

Pros: I really liked the hospitality of the family, who is running the camp. Very warm and kind people. Whenever I had questions or problems, they were ready to help me. Also as a female solo traveler I felt safe and secure the whole time. The camp itself is clean and cozy. It is in the middle of the desert so it is clear you can not have all the comforts that we are use to see in city accomodations. Never the less I found the camp nice and worth the price.

Cons: I liked everything, so there's nothing I didn't like.

Pros: Estuvimo durante dos dias y todo fue super bien. Si hay que destacar sería la comida. Tomo riquísimo 😊. Tambien hicimos un tour en Jeep donde pudimos conocer y disfrutar mas Wadi Rum Awwad y su hermano siempre estuvieron atentos a todo.

Pros: Wszystko! Bardzo miły, komunikatywny i pomocny gospodarz. Zorganizował nam wycieczkę po pustyni dokładnie tak jak chcieliśmy, oprócz tego zawiózł pod al-Dami udzielił wskazówek jak dostać się na szczyt. Obóz wspaniały, w którym panuje cisza i spokój, można nacieszyć się pustynią! Niczego w nim nie brakuje, jedzenie, które nam gospodarz przygotowywał było wyborne, najlepsze jakie jedliśmy w Jordanii. Jeszcze Awwad zaprosił nas do swojego domu!

Cons: Awwad prowadzi obóz tak wspaniale, że nie mamy chyba nic, na co moglibyśmy narzekać

Wadi Rum ist wunderschön und im Camp ist es sehr entspannt

Pros: Das Essen war sehr gut und vielfältig, sodass ich auch als Vegetarierin satt geworden bin jnd es sehr lecker fand. Unser Guide Awwad war sehr freundlich und ist spontan auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, was die Tour in Wadi Rum betraf. Dementsprechend gibt es aber auch nicht wirklich Standart-Touren, sonder man redet mit Awwad und muss dann auch über den Preis verhandeln. Das Camp ist sehr authentisch und wird von einer Bedouinen-Familie geführt. Nachts konnte man Sterne anschauen.

Pros: Tout était parfait ! Awad est un super guide et il est très sympathique ! Merci pour cette super expérience, et aussi la nourriture était excellente !!! Encore merci pour tout, je recommande à 100% !!
