Petra Guest House Hotel

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options, Sohaib who serves breakfast was very kind! The location was perfect — close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine kindness of everyone working there. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Pros: Exceptionally well situated to visit Petra and close to local restaurants. We enjoyed our evening drinks at the unique Cave Bar and the service was extremely friendly, both at the reception desk and in the dining room. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at the Petra Guest House. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The manager, Mr Ahmad, was exceptionally kind and helpful, always making sure everything was perfect. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and constantly smiling — it really makes a difference. The room was lovely — clean, comfortable, and well-appointed — providing a perfect place to relax after a day exploring. And the location? Absolutely unbeatable. It is quite literally right next door to the Petra historical site, which makes early starts and late returns so easy. You simply cannot get a better location. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra.

Pros: It was next to the bus station and to the Visitors Centre of Petra. The hotel was value for money.

Cons: The noise of the A/C because it was very big. I guess it will be very hot during summer time and hence they need such a big appliance. However it was minor considering that we had a really nice room with nice view and very quiet to have a good sleep in the night.

Pros: Brand new bathroom. Breakfast spread. Lovely staff - Sohaib and Khaled particularly helpful. Cave bar is very memorable.

Cons: Room’s a little dated although new bathroom had been fitted. No smart tv.

Super convenient for the Petra visit.

Pros: Absolutely amazing location, just next to the entrance to the site, with a bar onsite with alcohol and a great restaurant, special mention to the very courteous staff, especially Khalid and Omar.

It's a really good hotel but the price was the higher of our travel arround Jordania

Pros: Excellent location right at the main visitor centre to Petra. This is a nicely laid out property with free and secure parking on site. The service was excellent throughout, especially at check-in, breakfast and dinner. Staff were helpful and friendly - thank you to Omar at breakfast and everyone who contributed to our stay. We had an upgraded room which had great views and plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the cave bar which is really cosy and designed well to accentuate the ancient features.

Cons: Some rooms have a lot of steps - if you are physically impaired it is a good idea to check with the hotel beforehand to make sure you have an easily accessible room.

Pros: What wonderful experience we had in this hotel set into the walls of Petra. The staff, the rooms and location are just perfect.
