A truly home away from home

Pros: Amazing stay with a truly wonderful Jordanian family! I was warmly welcomed from the very first minute — I even joined a birthday celebration right after arriving. Staying here is much more than just having a place to sleep: it’s sharing daily life with a kind and generous family who do everything to make your stay in Aqaba unforgettable. The guesthouse is well located, the shared room is spacious, and the shared bathrooms are kept clean every day. If you choose the meal option, you’ll enjoy delicious homemade dishes shared with the family. I always felt welcomed, supported, and included, and they helped make my trip a beautiful adventure. Excellent value for money — highly recommended!

Cons: The only issue I experienced was finding the guesthouse. About 10 minutes before arriving, Google Maps stopped working properly and kept placing me at the airport, showing long driving times instead of the real distance. I later learned that other travelers had the same problem, apparently due to Temporary GPS interference in the area for security reasons. Fortunately, I remembered roughly the way and recognized the guesthouse from the photo But honestly, nothing to worry about — I saw that the hosts always respond quickly to guests and are ready to come help them find the place if needed

Pros: Hostel runned by a lovely family. Abdallah (son’s owner) is always in for a talk and wants to share alot about their culture. He helped me alot with the visa and we went for a discovery scuba dive together! His mother was also visiting and was really kind and made sure I had a good stay. The garden is lovely little oasis to chill with the cats! The family also provides other daily trips for a fair price and you can easily meet new people to go on a trip!

Cons: I would recommend to pay the breakfast at booking. Separately it might be a bit on expensive side (3JD per day). Sometimes it might be a bit noisy in the night due to barking dogs (however the location is further calm and not in the busy areas).

Pros: Clean rooms, Comfortable beds an Friendly staff. Good location.

Clean and Comfortable

Pros: Very clean and welcoming. The family are pleasant and helpful. Definitely good value for money. It's not by the sea but that's not a big deal for me.

A really good and affordable hostel

Pros: The people are really nice! The hostel is just what you can expect and looks like the pictures.

Cons: There wasn’t a locker where you could put your stuff in. It was just in the room where the other people also slept.

Pros: I have stayed with Amer several times already. The people are incredibly kind, the hostel is located in a quiet area, yet it is still close to the center of Aqaba and the restaurants. A big plus also goes to the availability of exceptionally delicious tea.
