Hayat Zaman Hotel And Resort Petra

Excellent!

Pros: The hotel is a gem. An old traditional neighbourhood turned into a beautiful well equipped hotel with beautiful oriental style rooms, a hammam, restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly. We specifically thank Yazan and Asma for their help and friendliness. The hotel also has daily shuttle buses to the Petra entrance and a great view of the valley.

Great choice as a base for Petra

Pros: New rooms with stunning view - very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Local staff, who were very welcoming and pleasant.

Overall a very pleasant stay and a good base to visit Petra.

Pros: Typical village completely rebuilt with 5 stars standards. I liked the Hammam and the traditional look.

Cons: The hammam should be included in the hotel price, which is not cheap.

Pros: Marvellous architecture, the conversion of ancient homes into a modern living facility was wonderful idea. The uplifting of living standards of local community thtough a tourism based idea is benefiting and examplary especially for a visitor like me who belongs to Kashmir where the development scope în tourism sector is more than any country in the world. Really loved the hospitality of Jordan people (from immigration to taxi driver, police, shopkeeper, hotel staff).

Pros: Probably one of the most charming resorts I've ever been to. Originally the stone buildings of the local town converted into a warren of luxury, individual rooms. The furnishings are incredible and as warm and welcoming as the staff themselves. I cheated a little as I stayed here in 1994 but just had to bring my own family back 30 years later to share and enjoy it again. Views out over the mountains are incredible and the resort still feels part of the local town unlike nearby Wadi Musa that is the entrance to Petra and in my mind suffers a little from over development and a very \

Nice staff and a very nice hotel

Pros: The property was very nice and had all necessary amenities including a nice buffet selection.

Cons: Well if i had to complain about anything was people walking by our room very early in the morning talking and making noise, i was woken up a few times. Location is quite far away from petra site

We have stayed at this hotel twice. We recommend it.

Pros: The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and facilities. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style with a wide selection. The food is tasty and there is plenty to choose from. The staff are very helpful.
