Petra Wassaif Camp

Pros: Beduin glamping at its finest. Clean rooms, good Jordanean breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. The camp has been meticulously prepared and would have been a hive of activity if the current political situation in the surrounding countries mean we were the only guests. Come and support this accommodation venue.

Cons: Being a camp, power was generator supplied only from 7pm to midnight. This was the case with other camps we stayed in also. Hard to find as with all camps, call owner for help.

Wonderful place

Pros: Wonderful place! The location was very good, with beautiful sights and very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Food was very tasty and plentiful. Staff very kind and helpful.

Pros: The location of the camp is wonderful.. the landscape is magnific and the host, Mohamed, is doing him best to receive the guests in a most welcoming and attentive manner. The basic needs are covered in this camp , hot water and electricity are provided within an established schedule. The dinner provided is very tasty .

Wonderful stay .

Pros: I had a wonderful stay! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and fresh ingredients. The ambiance of the place was beautiful and relaxing, making it the perfect setting for a getaway. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful-whenever I needed something, they were quick to assist and always with a smile. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Cons: The only small inconvenience was that the electricity was available on a limited schedule.It actually added a bit of charm to the experience, allowing us to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings even more.

Pros: We had a wonderful family stay in this place. The room was very beautiful, the meals very good and the common areas superb with lots of charm. The staff were very attentive, especially with our son, and we thank Mohamed and all the staff for making this stay unforgettable.

Great place, great staff

Pros: Situated a 20 minute drive from the Petra visitor entrance. Nice to be away from the crowds. The food was great, the tents clean and comfortable. the site overall is really well maintained and the communal area very pleasant place to relax. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and made us feel very welcome

Cons: Not much I didn't like at all

Pros: I had a wonderful experience at this camp. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The dinner served was absolutely delicious, and the serene surroundings provided a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place for a tranquil and enjoyable stay.

Friendly receptionist and nice view

Pros: We like our stay here. The view is amazing and the shared room is very cozy and beautifully traditional designed. The receptionist Sam welcomed us very friendly. He treats the guests with respect, is very helpful and understanding! The food was okay.

Cons: The Shower water jet was very weak. Hot water only available between specific hours. The road to get there is difficult for a non-jeep car.

Amazing! Look forward to staying again

Pros: Wassaif camp is in such a secluded, tranquil space. The decor is stunning & traditional of the culture. The rooms were perfectly decorated, comfortable & clean. Staff were very helpful, informative & made our st y very special
