Pros: Where do I start?! Azoz, Eid (owner), Eid (chef), Hamed, Hamawan and the entire family are now our own ❤️ the most amazing, kind hospitable people we have ever met from start to finish (and beyond) they have been incredible. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous with a stunning view. It’s away from any camps (very rare in Wadi rum). We did the North and South tours and saw all the filming sets and climbed lots! And done a camel ride for an hour, what an experience! There is 5 bubble tents so we met many other travellers on our trip and every night we sat with Azoz to have a tea and a chat around the fire our favourite part of the day! I could not recommend this camp and the people enough you’d be missing out if you don’t chose her for your next stay.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect!

Pros: What a great stay here at Wold Oryx. Everything about it was amazing! The staff, all of them, amazing. So friendly and helpful. The 4 hour tour that was organised was stunning. The location itself is perfect. Away from everyone, so isolated. Food served was delicious and more than enough for everyone. After dinner we had tea and spoke to everyone in the tent. Such a nice experience. We will come back for sure 10/10

Magical Wadi Rum

Pros: The location was absolutely incredible — just five dome tents nestled beneath a craggy rock formation, where you can lie in bed and watch the sunrise over the mountains. It truly feels surreal, like you have to pinch yourself to believe it’s real. Eid, the camp owner, was responsive from the very beginning and welcomed us like family. He organised a perfect Jeep tour exploring both the southern and northern areas of Wadi Rum. We watched the sunset before returning to camp for a delicious traditional Jordanian dinner. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Pros: Very friendly staff who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely incredible: no light pollution at all, so after dinner we could just sit and admire a sky full of stars. It felt magical. The food was delicious, and everything was spotless and beautifully cared for.

Pros: We had an amazing experience at Wild Oryx Camp Bubbles. The bubble tents are amazing, clean with hot water, heating/cooling and WiFi. The view from the tent is amazing, you can see the sunrise from your bed in the morning. The breakfast and dinner were also impeccable. The location is perfect, very secluded, quiet. We appreciate that there are only 5 bubble tents, so the experience is very private. The whole team is very welcoming and lovely. Eid, the owner is super friendly and communication is very easy as he responds very quickly. We also went for the Jeep tour in the desert which was a lot of fun, we had an amazing tour guide. We had the best time, we highly recommend staying here.

Pros: We really enjoyed this bubble camp. It has heater that can easily warm the room. The room is spacious enough for 2 people. The bathroom was also not too bad. We couldn't find hair dryer, so we had to use our own. The owner and his staff were very nice and friendly. We could see amazing stars at night and the view from the room was marvelous. Dinner and breakfast were great too.

Once in a lifetime experience hosted by a kind family

Pros: An incredible night in an amazing location. It was a one of a kind experience that I recommend everyone does. The bubbles are family run and they are all super friendly. Dinner and breakfast was great too, lots of local dishes. After dinner we sat and talked to the son Motaz and had a great conversation. The beds were comfy and we were so pleased to have a bathroom inside the pod (with a flushing toilet!). One thing to note is that you have to drive to the family’s home and then they take you in their overlander to the bubbles. It’s not possible to drive yourself, so you have to get a tour of the area - we did a 3 hour morning tour in the North area of Wadi Rum with the family which cost 40 JD each. If you want to see the South area, you should try to get there before midday on day one, and expect to leave after midday the next day.

Cons: Maybe less food at dinner and breakfast because we felt like we wasted a lot. Otherwise it was perfect.

Pros: Wild Oryx is an exceptional camp that delivers a level of hospitality far beyond what one might expect in the remote landscape of Wadi Rum. Eid and his team were outstanding throughout our stay, anticipating every need with warmth and professionalism. The tours were excellently organised and showcased the beauty and history of the desert with real expertise. The food was consistently delicious, and the fact that the camp offers an excellent hot shower in the middle of the wilderness feels nothing short of remarkable. All transfers were arranged seamlessly for us, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish. Wild Oryx is highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, authenticity, and impeccable service in one of the world’s most extraordinary settings.

Wadi Rum jewel

Pros: Wild Oryx camp is not the best just because of its location (it is away from other camps so you can really enjoy in silence), but also because of its owner Eid and all the staff that help with the services they offer (food, activities,...). These people are just amazing and they treat you as part of their family. They welcomed us with great lunch, took to the camel tour and made a delicious traditional dinner. After spending the night looking into the starts directly from our balloon tent, they took us to early morning balloon flight and after that to jeep tour through the desert. It all was really amazing, but the friendliness and hospitality is what will stay forever in our memories.
