Unique atmosphere. Highly suggested!

Pros: The location is amazing, and the staff are very attentive to your needs. Dinner was excellent and served in a traditional Bedouin style. After dinner, the staff illuminated the surrounding rocks, creating a truly unique atmosphere. The lighting on the rocks offers an experience comparable to Petra by Night, saving both time and money, and you can enjoy it for free right after dinner while relaxing inside the camp. The camp is located directly in front of the back-door trail of Petra, where both the walking path and the shuttle are available

Cons: The shower was a little cold, but it is winter and the location has limited water availability, so this was completely understandable and a very minor issue. Overall, the experience was great

Bedouin camp experience walking distance to Little Petra

Pros: The authentic quality lunch and dinner. The friendly, attentive and flexible service. The surrounding and outdoor and indoor eating area.

Cons: The size of the mid level tent is pretty snug for two people.

A warm welcome

Pros: Everything! Ahmed welcomed me warmly and upgraded my room which was a nice surprise. I was the only guest staying on site that night and felt like a VIP. The dinner was delicious and the cabin was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't have time to fit Wadi Rum into my itinerary so staying at this camp felt like a great way to experience a Bedouin camp. I was able to park my car outside and the shuttle bus picked us up in the morning to take us to the back entrance to start the hike into Petra.

Cons: The only downside was there was no hot water for my morning shower but honestly, it wasn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. If anything it woke me up in the morning!

Pros: Beautiful evening scenery of thousands lights lit around the camp, comfy resting place where you can have shisha and tea. Amazing beds and overall vibe of the place is amazing.

Cons: The light inside the tent is low, but I think it is part of the Bedouin experience.

A Special location.

Pros: Beautiful surroundings and rock formations. We didn’t stay in the cave we stayed in a room. It has a warm shower and aircon. Very comfy bed.
