Petra Rose Apartment

Excellent stay!

Pros: I liked the fact that the apartment was spacious and had two bedrooms. The location is great, if you are renting a car, you have like 5min to Petra. The apartment has a kettle, some tea and coffee, hairdryer, fridge and all. You have all the space to yourself, the host is living upstairs which is also nice and you can feel at home. I also liked that there was hot water!

Cons: As many are saying, there was hot water but the pressure is really bad. Still, comparing to other accomodiations at least there is hot water (which many other cheap places don’t have). It is still possible to wash your hair, yourself and everything, you just need some patience.

Pros: Amazing hosts, they were very welcoming and would recommend them to anyone!

Lovely host, cute house for Petra visit

Pros: Host contacted us with whatsapp and keys were in the lockbox. Also host's friend met us at the door to easily check in. House has 2 big rooms, small kitchen and living room. Host was lovely, when I told him there is no hair dryer, he first sent us one, but it wasnt working, then next morning he bought a new one and brought to us and he apologized for many times. Also host brought us delicious desert in a nice package. And we was so kind that unless I ask to pay he did not ask for it. He is really a good man. And the house is very clean, it is 7 minutes drive to Petra Visitor Center. And in Petra there are many hills, so it will be very difficult to walk. So car is a must I guess. And you can park in front of the house.

Cons: Wifi was very bad, but I guess host cannot do anything with it. Also the water pressure in the shower was very low, but there is hot water.

Pros: Nazir was a very kind host - accommodating us later than our intended arrival time, helping us with settling in and doing a laundry cycle in his house upstairs when we needed it for the kids. The rooms were big, the beds were comfy, and can accommodate upto 5 people easily. One of the kids left a small bag behind and Nazir contacted us immediately and was willing to come drop it off once we had checked out - thankfully we were only 10 mins away.

Cons: Water pressure is low, but this is a common issue in some places in Jordan and very understandable.

Pros: Clean, spacious and clean place. The beds are comfortable for sleeping and the place is quiet. The owner of the property, Nizar, is helpful and easy to reach, and provided us with some hospitality with a nice reception

Comfortable apartment in Petra

Pros: Very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in good location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nizar was always available to answer any questions and make arrangements if I needed them. The apartment is very clean. I can highly recommend Petra Rose Apartment 🌹

Cons: I liked everything about the apartment and the location. I felt very safe there as a solo travellers.

Amazing host and great value for the money.

Pros: Amazing, friendly and flexible host. We arrived late and did not have any problems with getting the keys and getting to the apartment. A lot of snacks and sweets were waiting for us and our children - that was a very nice invitation! Apartament has all the necessary utilities - a kitchen with an electric kettle, microwave etc.; two bedrooms (with a double bed in the first and three single beds in the second one). There's plenty of space next to the apartment to park the car as well. All in all great value for money.

Cons: It was quity chilly, when we arrived do Jordan (February), and it was quite difficult to heat up the whole apartment. The location is only a few minutes away by car to the free Petra car park as well as city center with restaurants and shop, however it's difficult to get anywhere without a car, so keep that in mind.

Good location for visiting Petra with a very kind host.

Pros: Great location to stay for three nights near Petra. Very friendly, kind host. Good communication. Beds very comfortable after long days in Petra.

Cons: Uncomfortable sofa to sit on.
