Second Trip to Jordan Means a Grand Reunion of Nonna Aisha. Wonderful Time! Elegance and Comfort.

Pros: This was our second time at Nonna Aisha. We regard Nonna Aisha as a very special place. The facilities are extraordinary, and the level of hospitality Yousif and his dear mother Aisha afford their guests is exceptional. The surroundings are safe, elegant and yet comfortable (which is to say that the place feels like the best second home), and ultra-relaxing. Again, this is a very unique and special place from which is base one's trip of the area and to return in order to retire from a long day of hiking, trekking, and exploring. Excellent showers, Wi-Fi, kitchen facilities, breakfast, outdoor lounging area filled with engaging conversation.

Pros: A nice place for your stay in Petra. It is still a bit of a walk down to the entrance and same back up from the Petra sight. We ended up using the car and that was fine.

Pros: Perfect position to visit Petra and reach Wadi Musa center. The room and the house are very nice, clean and comfortable. Nonna Aisha and her son are extremely kind and helpful, providing really useful suggestions for our stay and visit to Petra and offering some fruit at our arrival. Pros: It’s just what you need for visiting Petra…easy access, comfortable bed, great shower and lovely hosts!

Good location with great hospitality

Pros: I liked the location close enough to the attractions but not right in the madness of it. The family took great care of their guests and made me feel like I was staying with family.

Cons: It would have been good to have a small heater in the bedroom to take the chill out of the air.

Comfortable base for Petra

Pros: Our host, Yousef, was informative, attentive and kind. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was extremely powerful and hot which is just what we needed in the very cold spell Petra was experiencing. Breakfast was a do it yourself job with plenty of food available.

Cons: It’s a long walk to and from the Petra main gate. There is a short cut which you can find on Google maps but it is steep with a lot of broken glass on the floor so just be mindful of that if you are without a car.
