hostel ـ Karak dream

Pros: The owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean.

Cons: We had to wait for the room to get ready for almost an hour.

Pros: The hotel's restaurant is actually very good and the localisation is just perfect, 2 minutes from the castle. Also they have parking but there is openly of space everywhere so you don't really need it and the owner is really nice. The room was all set and clean.

Convenient!

Pros: Fantastic hostel in the centre of the town, a minute walk from the castle. The very friendly and helpful owner of the place also has a nice restaurant where he prepares fresh foods for the guests. The room was very clean, warm and quiet, and had a super comfy bed. We were staying in the middle of winter and it was the first accommodation (out of four other places we were staying in) that ACTUALY had hot water!! That hot shower was heaven :) highly recommended

Cons: Neighbourhood can seem a bit rough but its not! Its very safe :)

Pros: It's perfect. It's in a central location. We arrived here from the dead sea, enjoyed the little town of Al karak and proceeded to visit Dana the next day. The facilities of the hotel are in perfect conditions, everything super clean. The host offered us tea, and a lot of advices! Try the juice that they locally produce, it's amazing (in particular the pomegranate and orange juice)!

Cons: The host tends to be a bit overwhelming. We had dinner at the restaurant linked with the hotel, where the food was good but way overpriced compared to other places in Jordan. It feels like a tourist trap.

Comfortable budget accommodation in the heart of Karak.

Pros: Low cost, but very comfortable accommodation a stones throw from Karak Castle. As has been previously mentioned check-in is at the Moab café around the corner. Staff very friendly and keen to help. Discount on food purchased from café for hostel guests. Comfortable bed, good hot water, and complementary kitchen facilities.

Cons: As there is a mosque on the castle square you will get an early wake up call; but this is hardly unexpected when staying in the Middle East. Nothing else to complain about.

Pros: Great service, very friendly and honest staff. Perfect parking place. Great location, just 2 minutes walk from the castle. Clean, well-equipped room with kettle and hair dryer.

Cons: The bathroom didnt have ventillation, so it couldn't fully dry out.

Pros: Friendly staff, comfy beds and good location. It's very close to the castle, there are multiple shops and restaurants nearby. Very good for the price.

Absolutely worthwhile.

Pros: Right next to the castle plus easy parking. Excellent food for a good price. The owner was extremely nice.

Cons: A little noisy in the morning

Pros: We arrived late at the hotel, and the staff, including the manager, were extremely kind and even kept the restaurant open just for us. The room we were given was upgraded free of charge, very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The hotel is perfectly located right by Kerak Castle, with a huge free parking area. Great value for money, affordable, and with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly owner. Tea on arrival which is always a good start. The reception is his restaurant and the apartment just around the corner. Very easy to find. The apartment had a kitchen which is useful and good hot shower. The bathroom is shared between 4 rooms. Something to be aware of but not a problem. The restaurant was comfortable with good food. A very pleasant experience and would definitely stay again. A added bonus was a secure lockable room for my bicycle which he gave me the key for.
