Beautiful views, delicious food, and warm hospitality make Dana Trail Hotel a must-visit

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Dana Trail Hotel and truly enjoyed our time there. The food was absolutely amazing, and the views were unforgettable, making it a very special place to relax and unwind. Our host, Alex, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the experience even better. The rooms were very comfortable and provided the perfect place to rest and recharge. Unfortunately, due to bad weather and a tight itinerary, we didn’t get the chance to do any of the trails, but that just gives us a great reason to come back and stay longer so we can fully explore the area next time. One thing to keep in mind is that the shower temperature can switch between hot and cold, but this wasn’t an issue for us. We were simply grateful to have a shower after a day of travel. A beautiful place with a warm atmosphere, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

Cons: That we had such a tight itinerary we couldn’t properly explore so please if you are planning to go book more than one night!

Remote view of the valley

Pros: Alex is a very friendly and supportive worker!! He gave us all the information we needed and supported us in anything we needed. The place is at the bottom of the city and this provides special views.

Cons: The access is a problem with normal cars at this moment. You have to take a 4x4 car free of charge to get down, again, at this moment, I guess the owner will solve this soon.

Pros: Very beautiful views. Very kind people and amazing food. Ali was very kind and helpful.

Cons: It was all good.

Life detox in nature

Pros: Exceptional location in the stunningly beautiful Dana reserve. Alex and all the team were superb - upgrading our room, helping provide an outstanding, challenging hike with their local guide Omar. Oh and tea - divine! Can't recommend this detox from frenetic life enough.

Cons: Nothing - I wish we'd stayed longer than one night.

Pros: Great location, i liked the idea that the staff picks you up and drives you to hotel because of the bumpy road. Dinner and breakfast were both incredible with lots of choices. I would give special thanks to mr. Alex for really taking care of us all.

Cons: The only thing that bothered me a little, was that there was no hot water. Staff told me to call them if anything isn’t working but it was late at night so I didnt call. Otherwise everything was great

Pros: Super location and the breathtaking sunset view to Wadi Dana from the room. All the staff were helpful and friendly + the house cat. Keeping in mind it was end of December, we booked the comfier room on 1st floor, though there are tent-roofed rooms and cabins for warmer times and hard core hikers. The trail hike and lunch with the guide was enjoyable.

Lovely cosy hotel with stunning views

Pros: Stunning Views, food was delicious, comfortable room and cute big fluffy cat.

Cons: Bit or work going on but didnt disturb our stay.

Pros: The Best view of the Canyon with a beatufiul garden and great personel.

Cons: When it rains, be careful to get to the hotel by car leave the car in the parking some meters up.

Great location, beautiful views and excellent service

Pros: The views are amazing. It is the furthest hotel from the village and right at the beginning of the trail. I also found the service from Ali excellent. He did everything we asked and prepared the room perfectly. He was very attentive and is super punctual with the timings he gives for meals and transport. He prepared excellent dinner and breakfast and packed lunches for us to take on our hike. Although we can speak Arabic, we heard him dealing with other guests and his English is excellent. The room was also warm with no drafts even with the wind, rain and storms!

Cons: The wifi was not working, but that was not in the hotels control. It was a ISP provider issue in the area, but then maybe we need to be getting away from it all.

Pros: Amazing views, great food and Ali was an amazing host
