Pros: Friendly host, clean room, amazing dinner und Breakfast, perfect for a stop on the Jordan Trail. Best thing is, it is actually in Rum village and not somewhere in the desert where they Charge you a huge fee to bring you there.

Pros: The hostel is located right in the Wadi Rum village, which is sort of a centre for tourists where you can easily arrange trips. The host was very helpful and able to provide many advices. Free tea available was very satisfying in winter weather. The room was not a luxurious one but for a good price and sufficent if you are looking for local experience. Possibility of very good dinner at the hostel. Otherwise there are several restaurants and markets in the village.

Pros: The breakfast was nutritious and of good quality. The location of the accommodation is ideal, easy to find. A special advantage is that they also organize individual, personalized tours to the attractions of the area.
Cons: There was no problem.

Pros: A truly standout place in Wadi Rum village Before booking our stay at Wadi Rum Oryx Hostel, we visited several other hostels in the village — and this one clearly stood out. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The setup is simple but smart, which made our stay very comfortable. The owner is kind and helpful without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. Compared to other options in the area, Oryx Hostel offers great value and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Pros: The room was nice and cozy with comfortable bed. For colder days you can use the radiator and for hot ones, there is the air conditioning. Also there is free tea and coffee every time and meals if you request it earlier. There is a small bathroom, but with everything you need. If you have a car you can leave it at the parking lot at the beginning of the village and walk +/- 10 minutes to Oryx Hostel

Oryx is a perfect base for any extended climbing trips and the rooms have en-suite facilities.
Pros: Oryx hotel is a perfect base for visiting Wadi Rum, and the rooms having air con/ heating plus en-suite facilities sets it apart. The room was large allowing the 2 of us to spread out our considerable climbing equipment. But most of all the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and the breakfast and dinner excellent. It was so nice to walk in from a days climbing to have a plentiful, tasty, wholesome dinner waiting for us. The owner is well respected in the village and is seemingly related to everyone! but not in any way pushy. It was easy to arrange any trips or tours with genuine local Bedouin people, helping the Wadi Rum community rather than those from outside the area, such as in the nearby ‘camps’. Although my time in Wadi Rum has come to an end, my soul is still in the desert, and I will be back!
Cons: The hostel prefers to value your privacy during your stay, so if you need bins emptied or toilet cleaned you will need to ask.

Amazing guy, hostel ok
Pros: The owner is a very helpful, funny person. He really made us the best price for the tours we booked. We had two tours with him and his cousin, both amazing. The Hostel itself is nice and the tents have air-conditioning and a nice little bathroom. If you sit at breakfast in the morning you have an amazing view over the mountains.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit disappointing. Very little to choose and not much. There was another couple and once everyone took from the breakfast it was almost nothing left. Also there's is no cutlery (you have to ask) You can pay for dinner (10JD) but the kitchen looked not very clean, we didn't wanted to get something from there.

A very comfortable, well located, and good value place in Wadi Rum village.
Pros: Would really recommend this hostel if you are wanting to stay in the village. It is really new and everything is well designed, comfy and clean. The owner Ahmed is really helpful and always around to answer any questions or help out. You might get to mean his very cute son too! We had food some nights and that was delicious. There are chairs you can sit in the sun and there is always free tea and coffee available.
