Hasan Zawaideh Camp

Set among the red dunes of Wadi Rum, Hasan Zawaideh Camp offers private and shared Bedouin-style tents and an excellent location to explore the Jordanian Desert. Hasan Zawaideh’s staff organise jeep and camel trips to admire the Seven Pillars of Wisdom. They offer a special tour which follows the route of Lawrence of Arabia invading Aqaba. In the evenings, guests can sit around the camp fire and taste authentic, freshly prepared Bedouin dishes. The tents of Hasan Zawaideh are decorated with oriental carpets and colourful bed covers. Excellent stay

Pros: Excellent location, close to the main highway, hence you can directly park at the camp. This is ideal if you arrive on your won vehicle and saves you time. The bubble tent that we stayed is good size, clean and comfortable. The location is very nice and views are good. The evening dinner and next morning breakfast was fine. You can also book jeep tours with them for a reasonable price. We did 3 hour tour and it was fantastic. Staffs are helpful. Thank you.

Pros: Amazing camp, the staff is great, the food is amazing. There is entertainment at night. It is one of the good camps in the area and it exists most imporantly. I hoghly suggest staying there!

Pros: The location and the organization was amazing, there was a dinner with music and the buffet was amazing. Very close to the desert yet reachable by private car

Good value desert stay- would recommend

Pros: You can drive to the property in your own car unlike other camps where you have to be picked up. There was a wide range of good value tours available. Dinner and tours were well organised and operated like clockwork.

Cons: Shower was slightly dodgy and took a while to heat up but to be expected in a tent.
