You really get what you see
Pros: When checking for accomodation in Wadi Rum one thing became clear quickly - no matter what budget you are on, no matter what kind of place you are looking for, almost every single one of that hundreds of camps available had mixed reviews - and the same issues came up: constant tour hussle, photos not matching camp, sudden surcharges. Travelling with 2 kids we did not want any drama but hoped for a memorabe experience. And, luckily, there was absolutely NON of the above problems with this camp. Everything was excatly as advertised. Thank you very much. The tent/bungalow was airconditioned at night and reasonably comfy for a night or two. The view from the tent window in morning was stunning. The food was good and there was also enough vegan/vegetarian options. And, if you care, there was even working wifi. There are rocky hills to climb just behind the camp for sunset and sunrise. We did a 4 hour jeep tour in the morning at a good rate.
Cons: As a first timer to Wadi Rum you will have problems picking just the right camp for you (see above). Another issue is the location - difficult to make a choice without having been there. This camp is on the outer rim of the national park and as with many other areas of Wadi Rum we drove by there is sometimes not even 200 and meters of distance between camps. Close by here are several camps catering to very different kinds of tourists. There was disco noise until deep in the night from an outfit a few hundred meters away and with that many, partially floodlit camps in the vicinity there is too much light polution in the area for a truly impressive desert night sky. Guides for stargazing tours into the deeper desert can be arranged.

A very fulfilling experience, we would like to come back in the future to stay longer.
Pros: The location was in the middle of desert. The tent was fully equipped, having all the facilities(hot water, air conditioning, big and comfortable bed) The people were very nice and they offered a lot of things for free like tea and sandwices when we were hungry coming from the airport. They also upgraded our reservation for free in order to have a bungalow instead of an usual tent. We had mountain view in the middle of the desert from our room, it was very nice waking up like this. We also enjoyed the jeep tour that was really interesting and fun. The general atmosfere in the camp was very traditional and we felt like we were a part of them, not clients. The breakfast was very good and varied, serving many things. The price was also acceptable.
Cons: We liked everything.

A special night at Wadi Rum Desert
Pros: We went as a family of four, and stayed in two tents with private bathrooms & mountain views, and we all loved it there. The view was stunning from the room and the beds were comfortable. Fortunately, the full tourist season hadn’t started yet so the camp was lovely and quiet. Despite there being only a few of us, Akram and the team made sure we had the full desert experience. We did both the Jeep and the camel tours as extras. Our Jeep tour guide, Abdula, was fluent in English and very knowledgeable. We thought he was great. The traditional Bedouin dinner was tasty and they turned off all the lights after dinner so we could gaze at the stars, which was lovely. They were also accommodating about our having to check out early and laid the breakfast for us earlier than normal. Akram was great at keeping us informed via WhatsApp before we got to the camp.
Cons: It might be a good idea to bring an extra bottle of water with you as it was very hot during the day at the camp.

Great Location, Amazing stay
Pros: Ah! to be honest, i was a bit sceptical about the place as i was not able to see anything on google maps. But, everything was fine once i reached the place. Ahmed picked us up from the visitor center and went to the stay. Car will reach till the front of the gate. Place was exactly like how it is shown in photos. Ben was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Air conditioner works only during day time as it runs on solar energy. Night was pretty cool. Had a fan also. They gave us a good deal for a jeep safari. Mohammed, the chef cooked amazing dinner for us, which is extra payable. Breakfast was great as well. All together the location and the place was amazing
