Uncomplicated stay at a freshly renovated appartment in Al Bayda.

Pros: Nice room with kitchen and bathroom. The owner was very friendly and had good advise for the visit at Petra and little Petra, he even picked me up with his car. He also offers guided tours in Petra, his clients seemed very happy when I met them the next day.

Cons: The guitar in the living rooms was missing a string. I am kidding, I had no complaints.

A good alternative to Petra which is a very busy and somehow expensive place to stay.

Pros: Very nice, friendly and hospitable owner of the guesthouse. He also offers guided tours to Little Petra and Petra. We did the back entry walk from Little Petra to Petra. This trail we would not have done without the information anf hints from Eid, the owner of the guesthouse. Food offered is traditional and homemade by the family (living next door) of the owner.

Cons: The house was a bit difficult to find - no signboard neither at the road nor at the house. The dinner is slightly over priced.
