Excellent friendly budget homestay and great food

Pros: Perfect budget stopover to explore the area. Very friendly owners and the dinner and breakfast package were excellent, fabulous home cooked traditional food, worth staying just for the that!!! Even the villagers were super friendly, you will probably be the only foreigner in the village

Cons: Took a while for the hot water to come through the taps, and this time of the year it is colder in this village, and in parts of the property.. but in the bedroom you can put the A/c on heat to keep you warm.

Warm Hospitality - a perfect stay

Pros: Heba and Mohammed were the most wonderful hosts. The room is a good size, very clean, private. Easy access to an excellent kitchen with all amenities. Heba cooked the most unbelievable dinner and also breakfast. Mohammed is a guide at the local reserve and even drove us there on our first day! Both of them so incredibly helpful and hospitable. We will absolutely be staying with them again when we go back to Ajloun. Thank you so much.

Pros: The property is very conveniently located for all places to visit in North Jordan, Jerash, Umm Qais, Umm Al Jemal, Perla, Mar Elia and Ajlun Castle 10 minutes away. Heba cooked me delicious meals every evening and breakfasts were great with local homemade Sheep’s cheese. The village was delightful and I went for walks nearby taking to families who were out harvesty olives. The Jordan valley is very beautiful and this property is in an ideal location. Best of all was the welcome from the owners, Heba and Mohamed and their children. They showed me around the village & we fed the goats. Had a very happy stay.

Pros: We had great hosts who cooked a fabulous meal for us (extra cost) and made us welcome. The room was old but comfortable and the facilities adequate.

Pros: The couple who runs this guesthouse made a delicious dinner for us, and were very welcoming. The home is beautiful, with outdoor seating by the garden that we used for breakfast.

Pros: This place is fantastic! It is clean, comfortable and with a very good value for money. The host and his family provide delicious food for dinner at a very reasonable place: we couldn’t finish it all and he packed it for us to take away for the next day. I recommend staying at Mhna Guest House!
