Really atmospheric accommodation with warm hospitality.

Pros: We stayed one night in December and arrived after snow had fallen the previous night. The frosted trees and view over the biosphere were really lovely and made our stay truly memorable. There were gas heaters in the room and though the gas ran out after a while, the blankets provided adequate warmth through the night. Our breakfast was a generous sampling of the local cuisine, freshly cooked and delicious. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful.

Cons: Using the gas cylinder heaters made the room smell of gas and it felt somewhat unsafe. Also. once the gas runs out there is no way of heating the room.

Pros: The owner of the hotel is super friendly and generous! Breakfast and tea (free) was great. We stayed there during a very stormy time and it was a bit chilly in the room, but heaters are available and if you spend your time in the dining area (big and nice) the cold is really okey. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Pros: We had such a great stay at Jabal Dana Hotel! It's in a stunning spot with incredible views over the Dana Biosphere Reserve. The location is perfect if you're planning to hike in Dana or nearby wadis like Wadi Ghuweir! The rooms were super comfortable and clean—exactly what you want after a long day of hiking. What really made the experience special, though, was the hospitality. The staff were all so friendly, and the manager, Bassam, was amazing—really warm and welcoming. They cooked us delicious traditional Jordanian meals like Maqlouba and went out of their way to accommodate our schedule. If you're looking for an authentic experience with Jordanian traditions and hospitality, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Pros: We spent 2 nights/3 days in Dana hiking the reserve with our daughter who lives in Jordan. Our local guide recommended this hotel and it was fabulous. It had amazing views of the Reserve. Our host was incredibly kind, gracious and knowledgeable. We had delicious meals prepared by him and delightful conversations over tea. We would definitely go back and stay even longer. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking explore the area.

Cons: Nothing. Our stay was perfect

Don't miss out on staying here!

Pros: Our stay really did exceed expectations, knowing nothing about Dana before arriving, we were greeted by the incredible Abu Ahmed who couldn't have been more welcoming to us both. His hotel is lovely with big rooms and great bathrooms. His knowledge and passion for the Dana biosphere was so inspiring to hear and was a real highlight of our trip to Jordan. In addition, the chefs cooking was some of the very best we had in Jordan, both the breakfast and evening meal we're stunning. We came away from Dana thinking how much we'd have missed out if we hadn't visited.

Cons: We wish we could have spent more time there!

Great view, quiet, very friendly host

Pros: Good hotel to stop when you travel across Jordan or if you want to go hiking in Dana Biosphere Reserve. The location is very nice. We had a room with a great view of the Dana Valley. It was clean and spacious. Very friendly and helpful host. We arrived quite late but it was possible to order dinner. We also got a delicious tea with sage. Good nutritious breakfast: scrambled eggs, hummus, vegetables, jam etc. Inside the dining room, you can find a fridge with some beverages, as well as a kettle, cups, and free potable water. There are benches, chairs, and armchairs outside where you can sit, relax, and admire the stunning view from the highest point in this area.
